June 15, 2017 – My newest painting, Reflecting on Breakfast, is of a snowy egret and her reflection around 6 am as the sun is rising. The light reflects on his head as she looks for food in the salt marsh. There was little breeze allowing for a fairly clear reflection in the water near the rings caused by her walking along. It was fun getting the reflection in the water and seeing what changed in color and clarity as it was reflected. What a beautiful morning!
